KPSC secretariat assistant notification this month

Thiruvananthapuram. PSC meeting held yesterday decided to issue secretariat assistant notification last of this month.The exam will be in 2013 January and rank list will be published in march .Candidates with 50%marks in Science degree or 40% marks in Arts subjects and a diploma in computer application can apply through online for the post. The certificate verification process will be done between 1st August and 30th November. The exam will be a objective type 100 mark question like BDO,Panchayath secretary

എസ്ഐയെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞ് വീഴ്ത്തി അക്രമിയെ മോചിപ്പിച്ചു

ചവറ: ഉത്സവപ്പറമ്പില്‍ വാളുമായിനിന്ന യുവാവിനെ പിടികൂടിയ എസ്ഐയെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞുവീഴ്ത്തി യുവാവിനെ മോചിപ്പിച്ചു. ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റ ചവറ എസ്ഐ ആര്‍ രാജേഷിനെ(brilliance) കരുനാഗപ്പള്ളി താലൂക്കാശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. നിരവധി പൊലീസുകാര്‍ക്കും പരിക്കേറ്റു. ഞായറാഴ്ച രാത്രി 11.30ന് വടക്കുംതല പനയന്നാര്‍കാവ് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ഉത്സവത്തിനിടെയാണ് സംഭവം. ഉത്സവത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായ ഗാനമേളയ്ക്കിടെയാണ് വാളുയര്‍ത്തി ആളുകളെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തിയ യുവാവിനെ എസ്ഐ മല്‍പ്പിടിത്തത്തിലൂടെ കീഴ്പ്പെടുത്തിയത്. യുവാവിനെ പിടികൂടി ജീപ്പിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോകുംവഴി അക്രമാസക്തരായ ഒരുസംഘം യുവാക്കള്‍ എസ്ഐയെ വളഞ്ഞു. മുപ്പതോളം വരുന്ന സംഘം എസ്ഐക്കും പൊലീസ്സംഘത്തിനും നേരെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു. കല്ലേറില്‍ എസ്ഐ നിലത്തുവീണപ്പോള്‍ സംഘം യുവാവിനെ മോചിപ്പിച്ച് രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. എസ്ഐയുടെ നെറ്റിക്കും കൈയ്ക്കും മുറിവേറ്റു. എഎസ്ഐ സേവ്യര്‍, അടൂര്‍ എആര്‍ ക്യാമ്പിലെ പൊലീസുകാരായ വിഷ്ണുശിവദാസ്, മനോജ്, ജിജോ ജോണ്‍, കിഷോര്‍കുമാര്‍, ദീപുദാസ്, ജീപ്പ് ഡ്രൈവര്‍ അജയകുമാര്‍ എന്നിവര്‍ക്കും കല്ലേറില്‍ നിസ്സാര പരിക്കേറ്റു. ചവറ സിഐ അരുണ്‍രാജിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ പൊലീസ് സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി. പ്രതികളെ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞതായി സിഐ പറഞ്ഞു. അക്രമവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് 31 പേര്‍ക്കെതിരെ ചവറ പൊലീസ് കേസെടുത്തു.

ഇരവിപുരം: സ്തുത്യര്‍ഹസേവനത്തിന് രാഷ്ട്രപതിയുടെ പ്രിസണ്‍ മെഡല്‍ നേടിയ തിരുവനന്തപുരം സെന്‍ട്രല്‍ ജയില്‍ സൂപ്രണ്ട് ബി പ്രദീപിന് ജന്മനാടായ ഇരവിപുരത്ത് ഗംഭീരസ്വീകരണം നല്‍കി. കോര്‍പറേഷനിലെ ഇരവിപുരം ഡിവിഷനില്‍ രൂപീകരിച്ച സ്വാഗതസംഘത്തിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലാണ് ഞായറാഴ്ച വൈകിട്ട് ആദരിക്കല്‍ ചടങ്ങ് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചത്. ഇരവിപുരം ജങ്ഷനില്‍നിന്ന് ബാന്‍ഡ്വാദ്യത്തിന്റെ അകമ്പടിയോടെ നൂറുകണക്കിനാളുകള്‍ പ്രദീപിനെ സ്വീകരിച്ച് ആനയിച്ചു. വ്യക്തികളും സംഘടനകളും സാംസ്കാരികസ്ഥാപനങ്ങളും പ്രദീപിന് ഉപഹാരങ്ങള്‍ സമര്‍പ്പിച്ചു. സ്വീകരണയോഗത്തില്‍ എസ് ഉദയകുമാര്‍ അധ്യക്ഷനായി. സ്വാഗതസംഘം ജനറല്‍കണ്‍വീനര്‍ ജി സജീവന്‍നായര്‍ സ്വാഗതം പറഞ്ഞു. ചലച്ചിത്രനടി പ്രിയങ്ക ഉദ്ഘാടനംചെയ്തു.

രു: കേന്ദ്രബജറ്റിന് പിന്നാലെ സംസ്ഥന ബജറ്റിലും വാഹനങ്ങളുടെ നികുതി ഉയര്‍ത്തി. 5 ലക്ഷം വരെയുള്ള വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് 6%വും 10 ലക്ഷം വരെയുള്ള വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് 8%വും 15 ലക്ഷം വരെയുള്ള വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് 10%വും 15 ലക്ഷത്തിന് മുകളിലുള്ള വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് 15%വുമാണ് പുതിയ നികുതി.
ബീഡി ഒഴികെയുള്ള പുകയില ഉല്‍പ്പന്നങ്ങളുടെ നികുതി 12.5%ത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് 15%മാക്കി. വിദേശ മദ്യത്തിന്റെ നികുതിയും കൂട്ടി. പാന്‍മസാലകള്‍ , പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് കാരി ബാഗുകള്‍ എന്നിവയ്ക്കും വില കൂടും.
തുണി, ബാഗുകള്‍ , കാലിത്തീറ്റ, ചുക്ക്കാപ്പിപ്പൊടി, എണ്ണ, മൈദ, ടിന്നിലടച്ച ഭക്ഷ്യവസ്തുക്കള്‍ എന്നിവയുടെ വില കുറയും. ഉഴുന്ന്, പയര്‍വര്‍ഗങ്ങള്‍ , കടല, വറ്റല്‍മുളക് എന്നിവയുടെ നികുതി ഒരു ശതമാനമായി കുറച്ചു. തേനീച്ചപ്പൊടി, ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ നിന്ന് വാങ്ങുന്ന മരുന്നുകള്‍ , ഹൃദ്രോഗ ചികിത്സയ്ക്കുള്ള സ്റ്റെന്റ്, വാല്‍വ് എന്നിവയുടെ വിലയും കുറയും.
